Danger Close

It’s been a wild week here for weather….at least by Arizona standards. Late…..late monsoon storms pushed through the valley bringing flood inducing amounts of rain, storm warnings that had co-workers and myself moving our cars to safer locations at work and at least one tornado touch down. We also had plenty of thunder and lightning. On Tuesday night I raced the storms to an overlook on the Apache Trail hoping I was lined up well enough to see the storm roll by without ending up in the middle of it. Rain, thunder, lightning and high winds don’t bother me so much, but having hail damage declared an act of God by my insurance company does.
