I tried to catch a fast moving storm coming through the area but my original idea to shoot out at the Superstitions was thwarted when the storm, moving east to west, beat me to the mountains. I then diverted a bit to the south to stay out of the direct path so I could shoot outside of the wind, driving rain and lightning. I ended up back at Morrison Ranch where the lighting strikes were few but the sunset bouncing off the storm clouds saved the day.
